The Reproductive Awareness Program (RAP) provides education information, and training to at-risk youth in Los Angeles County.  RAP was established in 1985 and is funded  by the California Department of Public Health,  Office of Family Planning, Division of Information and Education.

The goals of the Reproductive Awareness Program (RAP) are:

  • To reduce teenage pregnancy
  • To prevent sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS
  • To empower youth with tools, skills and knowledge so that they can be more responsible with their sexual and reproductive health.
